Another year

Another year and another baby boy! X James was born on September 13th, 2018. A year ago today is actually the day I found out I was pregnant and what a surprise that was, in a good, crazy, wtf kinda way. Now, I literally have 2 walking cliches. Johnny was conceived on Valentines Day and Xander on Christmas. I also went snowboarding the day after conceiving both of them and fell on my ass. I swear- whatever sperm was lingering there shot right up and thats how I got my babies. Safe to say, no more sex then snowboarding over here. Shop is closed.

SO, I started this blog a little over a year ago with all intentions of writing daily, posting cute outfit links and adding pictures of my little swagged babe but that didn’t work out as planned. Life got messy, we sold our apartment, moved into my mothers house, got pregnant with our second little swaggy and bought a house. Its been a crazy whirlwind of a year and I wouldn’t change any of it for a second.

Now that Johnny is in school and I’m stuck at home on these cold winter days, I’ve decided that this is the year that I’m going to be a “blogger”. Kidding. But not really.  I often find myself dishing out what works for me with sleep training, where I get the boys clothes, baby gear etc. so why not put it all somewhere. On the internet. For people to either love or judge. I am by no means an expert on this whole mom thing. I pretty sure we’re all winging it together and for those who think they know it all? You don’t. I am also not a social media “poster”. I hate politics, I hate over-posters, I hate mean, judgey people.  But this is a new year and time to step out of my comfort zone and put this blog out there.

SO cheers to the next chapter and to more of what I think are funny, loving, sarcastic, informative blog posts!
